Our Services

Six service areas. One delivery standard.

OPSENSE delivers across the full spectrum of computer systems design and related engineering disciplines. Every service area is staffed by engineers with direct operational experience — not generalists working from playbooks.

Service Overview

What OPSENSE delivers.

01

Systems Architecture & Design

Architecture blueprints, component design and technology selection for new systems or the redesign of existing infrastructure — documented to build-ready standard.

02

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

IaC-driven cloud environments on AWS, Azure and GCP. Automated CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration and full observability stack configuration.

03

Enterprise Software Integration

Integration architecture and implementation connecting enterprise platforms, legacy systems, SaaS tools and third-party APIs — built on patterns that extend without re-engineering.

04

Cybersecurity & Compliance

Security architecture, IAM design, network segmentation, vulnerability assessment and compliance controls for ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR and Cyber Essentials.

05

Digital Transformation Consulting

Technology programme design with a clear engineering execution path — from current-state assessment through phased migration planning with business-aligned milestones.

06

IT Systems Audit & Optimisation

Structured audit of existing systems identifying redundancy, risk, performance gaps and cost inefficiency — with a prioritised remediation roadmap and clear impact estimates.

Service 01

Systems Architecture & Design

Architecture is the most leveraged investment in any technology programme. A well-designed system is faster to build, easier to operate, cheaper to scale and simpler to hand over. A poorly designed one is a recurring cost — in engineering time, operational incidents and security exposure.

We produce architecture blueprints that engineering teams can build from on day one. Every design decision is documented with its rationale, alternatives considered and trade-offs accepted. No tribal knowledge. No ambiguity in the specification.

System architecture blueprint and component diagram
Dependency mapping and integration surface documentation
Capacity model and scaling strategy
Technology selection rationale and alternatives log
Risk register with probability and impact assessment
Migration path from current state if applicable
Computer systems architecture design — OPSENSE technical documentation and system blueprint
Cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering — OPSENSE AWS Azure GCP deployment
Service 02

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

We build cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code across AWS, Azure and GCP. Pipelines are automated, environments are reproducible and deployments can be reversed without drama. We do not accept manual configuration steps as part of any production environment.

DevOps is not a job title or an organisational restructure. It is a set of engineering practices that make delivery faster and safer. We implement those practices — CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, automated testing, observability — with the rigour that production systems require.

Infrastructure as Code — Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
Kubernetes and container platform engineering
Observability stack — metrics, logs, traces and alerting
Disaster recovery configuration and recovery runbooks
Cloud cost analysis and rightsizing recommendations
Service 03

Enterprise Software Integration

Most enterprise technology problems are integration problems. Data lives in the wrong place, cannot be shared without manual steps or breaks when one system is updated. We design and build integration layers that solve this structurally — not with fragile point-to-point connections that require constant maintenance.

We use API gateways, event-driven architectures and middleware patterns that are built for extension. Adding a new system to an OPSENSE integration layer should take days, not months.

Integration architecture design and data flow documentation
API gateway and middleware configuration
Event-driven and message-queue architecture
Error handling, retry logic and dead-letter queue management
End-to-end integration testing suite
Operational monitoring and automated alerting
Enterprise software integration architecture — OPSENSE API and data pipeline engineering
Cybersecurity and compliance engineering — OPSENSE ISO 27001 SOC 2 GDPR
Service 04

Cybersecurity & Compliance

Security controls that are bolted on after a system is built are always more expensive and less effective than those that are designed in from the start. We implement security as an engineering discipline — starting from the identity and access model and working outward through network segmentation, data handling and audit logging.

We have delivered compliance programmes across ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, Cyber Essentials and PCI DSS. We produce technical evidence packs that meet audit requirements — not just policy documents that describe intention.

Security architecture review and gap analysis report
IAM policy design — principle of least privilege
Network segmentation and firewall rule configuration
Vulnerability scanning and prioritised remediation plan
Audit logging and SIEM configuration
Compliance evidence pack and control mapping

Digital Transformation & IT Audit

Digital transformation programmes fail when they are planned by people who cannot execute them. We produce transformation roadmaps with engineering-level detail — phased delivery plans with defined milestones, dependency maps and realistic timelines based on actual engineering capacity, not project management optimism.

Our IT audit service provides a structured assessment of what you currently have — every system, every cost line, every risk. The output is not a presentation of findings. It is a prioritised action list with clear effort estimates and measurable impact projections.

Current-state technology assessment and inventory
Target-state architecture design and gap analysis
Phased migration roadmap with business milestones
Cloud cost analysis — average 25–35% reduction within 90 days
Performance audit and root-cause identification
Prioritised improvement backlog with effort and ROI estimates

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Every engagement begins with a structured discovery phase where we assess the current state, define the problem precisely and agree the scope of delivery. From there we move into design, build, review and deployment phases — each with defined deliverables and client sign-off points. We do not start engineering work until the architecture and approach have been agreed. This prevents the costly mid-project redesigns that occur when engineering begins ahead of a clear specification.
The majority of our work involves existing systems — migrations, modernisation programmes, security hardening and integration of new platforms with legacy infrastructure. Greenfield projects make up a smaller proportion of our work. In both cases, our approach is the same: assess what exists before making any engineering decisions, document the current state accurately and produce a clear design before any build work begins.
We work primarily across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. We are platform-agnostic in the sense that we select the platform that best fits the client's requirements, existing infrastructure and compliance obligations — not the one we have a commercial relationship with. Our IaC tooling is compatible across all three major cloud providers, which means multi-cloud environments are not a problem for us.
Yes. We have delivered technical compliance programmes across ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR and PCI DSS. Our approach is to implement the technical controls that the framework requires, produce the evidence that auditors need and document the configuration in a way that can be maintained after we complete the engagement. We do not just advise on what to do — we build the controls and produce the evidence.
Cloud migration timelines depend heavily on the complexity of the source environment, the number of applications involved, data volumes and compliance requirements. A well-scoped migration for a small-to-medium business with a clear current-state inventory typically takes 10–18 weeks from design to production go-live. Larger programmes with multiple workloads and regulatory constraints run over 6–18 months. We will give you a realistic timeline estimate at the end of the discovery phase — not at the beginning of a sales conversation.
Yes. We offer post-delivery support on both retained and on-demand bases. Retained arrangements provide a defined number of engineer hours per month for ongoing system management, security patching, performance review and incremental improvements. On-demand support provides access to our engineers for specific issues or changes without a monthly commitment. The choice depends on the client's internal capability and the complexity of the system we have delivered.
Knowledge transfer is a structured deliverable in every OPSENSE engagement — not an afterthought. We produce architecture documentation, operational runbooks, incident response playbooks and system diagrams as part of the build process. At the end of the engagement we conduct formal walkthrough sessions with the client's operational and engineering teams. Our goal is for the client to be able to operate the system independently and confidently before we close the engagement.
